Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Vietnam, Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142 were all full titles without a singleplayer element outside of bot matches. All the Battlefield single player campaigns have been utterly forgettable with generic characters, generic writing, and piss poor AI. Not sure what I should want about that. They’d all be running rampant on bot servers, claiming 300 kills in some virtual Bad Company 2's mortar strikes, C4, and defibrillators are there, as well as the EOD Bots from Battlefield 3. The Battlefield series had bots from the very beginning. It's more that the newer games didn't have bots anymore. But BF1942, BF Vietnam, BF2, BF2142 all had bots. BFBC2 also had bots, but only in the Onslaught DLC. Then with BF3+4 onward, bots disappeared (but still appeared in DICE's Battle_front_ games).
